Just a TV or monitor (any size), a device to run the TV display on (a laptop, tablet, or Chromecast plugged into the TV), and a phone to control the timers. No special hardware required — if it has a browser or supports casting, it'll work.
Both devices join the same gym session over the internet — they don't need to be on the same Wi-Fi network. Open the timer display on whatever device is connected to your TV, then open Timercast in your phone's browser to control it from anywhere in the gym.
In Open Gym mode, yes — multiple gym members can each run their own timer on the shared screen simultaneously. In Instructor mode, the instructor controls a shared timer that all TVs display.
The TV automatically switches to Info Screen mode — showing a clock or general gym information. On paid plans you can display your gym's logo so the screen always looks on-brand even between sessions.
